Vehicle & Trailer Restoration

Apr 1, 2020 | Marine, RV, Trailer

Many people today are interested in purchasing older RVs and trailers that have unique and nostalgic qualities. We understand the attraction, and enjoy working on all makes and the earliest models. For some people, their purchase is an obsession and they will stop at nothing to materialize their vision. We get it, and we’re here to help. Our Pro Team is skilled in exterior and interior modifications, parts and appliance replacements, improving the suspension, braking systems, and more.

While you might be tempted to focus on aesthetics first, so you can trick out your ride, resist that temptation and start with a 54-point inspection. This will help you prioritize the wants vs. the needs. For example, if you have dry rot from a leaking roof, removing the dry rot and sealing the joints is the first step. Without this, any new interiors will eventually become damaged and your comfort systems will become compromised too. We are here to help you make wise investments and get many years of enjoyment out of your remodel, conversion or restoration.

Evaluating your living systems is another concern. If your plumbing isn’t working, taking a trip to the nearest bush or rest stop is probably an unpleasant detour. Or, if your refrigeration fails, you may be forced to live on fast food while you travel. By understanding the state of your RV or trailer, you will be able to make smart decisions to ensure your trips are perfectly memorable. Building it right from the start means you’ll never have to apologize to your travel companion. As part of your 54-point inspection, we will evaluate the:

  • Electrical System
  • Plumbing System
  • HVAC System
  • Satellite and Entertainment Systems
  • Hydraulic & Suspension Systems
  • And more…

If you are ready for aesthetic planning, or bodywork and painting, it’s as simple as scheduling an appointment with a member of our Pro Team. Ask for a FREE consultation. We have color-matching software to restore the original look. Dents and dings will be handled in our body shop too.

There is no modification too big or detail too small that we won’t tackle. We’re here to help get you on the road, safely, so you can have a positively memorable experience. We want to hear about your next journey too!
